Tami Rossell
for Hayward Unified School Board

Putting students & families first.

As a mother of seven and a grandmother of one, Tami has been a bold advocate for high quality, equitable education for years.

In addition to serving as a Hayward Unified School District Parent Ambassador at multiple schools, Tami helped implement the African American Student Achievement Initiative within the district (bringing educational resources and historical awareness to both students and parents), along with Puente which focuses on the academic achievement of Latinx scholars.

Tami has earned multiple awards and recognition for her service to education and the City of Hayward. As a graduate of Hayward Promise Neighborhoods, a Community Leadership Initiative at CSU East Bay, Tami believes all scholars have the right to achieve excellence, and will fight for the tools and resources to make that happen for the students in Hayward.
